Why Choose Us?
At Transaction Junction we take a proactive stance when it comes to possible troubleshooting within the payment process. Our systems, products and services have been developed to severely limit any costly and frustrating system disruptions. If your current system has experienced, or continues to experience any of the disruptions listed below, it might be time to talk to us.
The following are common disruptions experienced within a payments system that does not conform to OUR highest protocols on safety, security and reliability:
- Over settlement - resulting in frustrated cardholder or customer
- Under settlement - resulting in cash flow problems
- Late Settlement - resulting in cash flow problems
- Declined transactions due to lack of systems availability i.e. business continuity severely impeded, resulting in a frustrated cardholder
- Configuration file loading fails to load or only partially loads
- POS systems running the incorrect configuration version
- Dependency on store staff to perform IT functions when processes fail
- POS isn’t using the latest hot card version (making the client liable for fraudulent transactions on hot cards)
- Advice messages get ‘stuck’ in your store and forward queue (these transactions therefore won’t be settled)
- New software versions are rolled out to all stores but some POS’s might not receive the updates (offline or powered off)
The following are questions to be asked of your current payment system:
- Is your current system safe, reliable, protected?
- Are your stores always settled on time and in full?
- Do you have complete visibility of your own transactional data allowing you to retain a measure of control?
- Are you able to access client data for analysis purposes in near real-time?
- Is your system compliant with international standards such as ISO8583, PCI DSS, and EMV?
- During a disaster will your switching system maintain transaction integrity whilst remaining 100% available?
- Can your system report on transactions that have never reached the switch? (Restated – Do you know how many transactions have been declined at the POS?)
- Can you tell on demand how many of your POS’s are available to trade?
- Can you tell on demand if all EFT transactions have been processed to the switch for settlement?
- Can you tell on demand whether all POS systems have been updated with the latest version or patches?
- Are you certain that your EFT systems (POS, EFT switch, back office etc.) are all using the same card parameter versions?
- Can you roll back your configuration quickly should the need arise?
